Gen 4 – Leaking Wheel Bearing?

Hello,

I recently changed my oil and noticed a huge amount of grease on front right inner wheel hub in all different areas.

I didn’t notice any tears in the axle boot, or looseness in the axle boot clamp. I also didn’t notice any rips in the ball joint. But based on the spray pattern and the amount of grease I can only imagine it coming from under the axle boot or from the wheel bearing. I haven’t noticed any issues ride quality wise or with any odd noises. Is this a common sign of a failure of the wheel bearing? Did I maybe just so happen to catch it right after it started leaking? Could it actually be the axle and some grease scape path I didn’t notice? What do you think?
