I just bought a 2015 2.5 H4 Premium with a tad over 91k miles on it and last night while driving around town, I started to get a bong sound from the speakers. There are no associated messages popping up on the dash or the head unit. It didn’t happen a lot and it happened when I was going in a straight line and it happened again when turning in a parking lot*. It’s just a one-time alert tone and it’s short. Anyone have any clue what this tone is alerting me to? Has anyone else heard such a thing happen in their Outback regardless of generation?
Turning in a parking lot give me a *click click click noise from front, passenger isde and sometimes when I take off from a stop light, I’ll get a slight thump noise from the same area. Could the alert tone be telling me that something is wrong with my suspension? Again, I don’t see any messages anywhere.
