considering it’s going to be $250, why not have an old phone you don’t need, let it talk via Bluetooth, with an OBD2 reader…. ;) (maybe write on the back of the phone, this phone is old! so no one will steal it by breaking your windows).

although with activeOBD, I can read all three important things on the 2012 OB (coolant, CVT, engine oil) on one screen, but on my 2017 Forester, it only shows the CVT (I can use the car scanner to read two of others, but it’s a pain to switch back and forth). I paid for Torque pro and it doesn’t read CVT temp on subaru.

Same phone and same app. why did subaru change things on their OBD output?
