Whenever I turn the heater on or when it rains the air smells like dog food. A while ago we had a mouse that brought some food into the car. I had it at the dealer a few times to clean out the HVAC system, but they can’t find anything. I am pretty sure the little guy packed some dog food into the vents or box where the heat comes from, but the questions is where could it be and what should I tell the dealer to look at? There is no smell with Cold air, unless it rains, and if you turn on the heater that is when the smell becomes really strong. At a point where we don’t run heat even when it is cold.
