JDM Spec B control arms do not fit properly…

sigh always a problem…

So the Spec B control arms I got, AS AN ARM (ie: the metal part) fit perfectly as far as everything that closes (ie the ball joints fit in perfectly, everything lines up, etc .)… does not fit! (kind of).

Either the bolt that the bushing attaches to is too long or the bushing itself, while correct for a Spec B, is not correct for an OBW. Photos below:

As you can see it goes on the bolt but doesn’t want to slide up and is stuck in the position you see above: my mechanic said it’s stretched/compressed as far as it will go and won’t move at all.

So what do you guys suggest I do here: change the coil somehow or is there a bolt that can be swapped with the current one?

I hope there is a solution, ’cause I don’t want to be out $150.00 when there are plenty of people online who have done the exchange with no problem.

Any help is appreciated :)
