Hello, I just bought a 2023 Ascent and am considering upgrading the wheels, tires, and possibly adding a 2″ lift to it. I’m also going to buy a small tow-behind camper and would like the extra ground clearance when towing. However, the auto shop that was going to perform the work told me NOT to lift the Ascent. They said a lift on this vehicle noticeably impacts driving the vehicle in a negative way. They said the ride will be stiffer and harder to align. Is this true? I’d love to get people’s opinions on this who have actually lifted their Ascents. Thanks for your help.
