I just traded in my 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SE for a 2019 Subaru Outback 2.5L Premium at CarMax. YAY! Although I loved the gas mileage and ride of the C-Max, the Hybrid battery needs to be replaced at 86,000 miles at the cost of $9,500 parts + $1,100 labor = $10,600!!! Well….F That for this 10-yeard old Ford car, right? So here I am with a “proper” car finally. BTW, I love the way this Outback handles and drives.
Question on my 2019 model, which may have been answered before (sorry): After driving it home yesterday about 25 miles in 80-deg weather with the AC running, when I pulled into my garage and did some setups on connecting my phone, setting a few display options, etc all with the engine & AC running, when I turned it OFF I noticed a puddle of dripping water on my garage floor with a slight drip still coming from underneath from what appears to be an overflow tube. Is this normal? I am figuring it’s just condensation run-off and I needn’t be worried, right?
Thanks for your replies.
