Took in wife’s 2019 Ascent into dealer to perform CVTF change (bc I read on here that this DIY procedure is more complex on Ascents than my OB). They found a leak from the transmission chain cover and said they had to reseal before they could do the CVT. They performed all work under extended warranty (car at 61k miles). Now she is noticing some hesitation with higher RPMs and hill ascents, in addition to a hissing sound coming from the passenger side during lower gear transitions. I have an appt for the dealer to look at it this weekend, but wondered if anyone here has experience with this issue and what it might be. Thanks.
