Outback 2023 steering on highway is vaugue

I am new to Subaru, but have owned 30+ vehicles over the years and never had so much trouble keeping the Outback 2.5 to stay in the lane centre. No previous vehicle has ever been like this.
Drives well enough around town, but at 100km/h the steering on anything other than flat, perfect blacktop wanders continually around the lane. It feels like the steering is too sensitive or reacts to every bump and camber on the road.
The lane keeping functions often makes it worse, overreacting to the vehicles position and misinprepreting lines, etc
Have adjusted tyre pressures, from 225kPa (recommended) front and rear to 270kPa
With or without LKA the drive is really tiring.
I could comfortably drive 10hours on previous cars, but the Outback is disappointing.
Any thoughts or ideas.
