I created an account to post after finding this thread: I have a 2020 Ascent with similar problem that is 36 days out of warranty (details below). The dealer discovered that the problem was a problem with the sunroof rails that required an expensive rail replacement. It took the techs a lot of research to find the cause, but they are a fantastic dealer/team (our second Subaru with them). Maybe ask your technicians to check this if your leak is difficult to determine. It’s called Subaru of America, and upon review, they’re covering everything but taxes on the tune-up. I’ll see how it goes and holds up, but I’m impressed with SoA’s phenomenal level of service. Issues experienced were similar to others in the thread. In our case, the water was leaking from the left rear door pillar (dripping from the seat belt opening and the panel seam just below it, just like @Krisy’s photo). Head capacity, left rear door pillar and seat belt and floor completely wet, with condensed moisture throughout the interior. With the recent heavy rains here, water was dripping from the upper vents on the left side. Hope they find and fix the cause, fingers crossed on this end! – Dan
