Hey guys. I just found and bought a factory nav unit out of a 2006 Outback at the local u-pull-it lot. I got the in-dash nav unit (Kenwood) and the center vent/bezel piece. I am going to attempt to get this working in my 2006 Outback 3.0R. Even found the (OLD!) DVD dics for it on the floor. I looked for the DVD disc player under the pass seat but nothing there. Where is the disc player located? What addl wiring might I need to get this working? The nav unit has two wire harness/plugs and one DIN style connector. Is the disc unit under the drivers seat where I didn’t look? I think I will need to learn what other wiring and disc player is needed and go back there this weekend for more pullin. It is 95+ here today and was getting too hot to bear out in that lot.
Since the center temp display has to be removed for the nav unit what replaces that function or is the temp then on the nav unit display?
