In just under 3000 miles over 6 months, this oil has lost enough viscosity to be diluted from 5w-30 to the equivalent of xw-20, which is acceptable to me.
Despite Blackstone saying there was no significant fuel dilution, the used oil had the distinct smell of gas. My average “fully warmed up” oil temps are 195 degrees, average trip is 5 miles in 15 minutes for an average speed of 20 mph. Fuel economy is also around 20 mpg 
. Because of this short surface travel stop and go drive, I am concerned about engine deposits and am using Shell V-Power for its added detergency.
Next plan is to use GF-6 SP D1G2 5w-30 since I have summer weather year round.
In September 2021 D1G3 is expected to replace D1G2.
