I am buying a new 2024 Outback in Massachusetts. I learned late in the process that Starlink is not available for residents of Massachusetts. This is due to Subaru pulling the service because of our Right To Repair law (which Subaru and Kia are the only two manufactures that have pulled their apps). I am coming from a 2019 Forester for which I have a current subscription since purchase. I use it every day so lack of Starlink is a bummer. I just realized that I may not only be losing remote start, lock/unlock, and immobilization features, but I may potentially lose the safety measure of the SOS call button service. Does anyone know if this is linked to a Starlink subscription?
