Question about pulling the engine after removing the timing belt

I need some help making sure I’m not overthinking this..
2012 outback 2.5 cvt.
The water pump was leaking from the oil hole. It had been about 90k since the last time set so I took a time set. after parts inspection the bolts from the water pump pulled the set threads of the block.
What I want to do now is pull the engine to get great access to the new propeller threads in the water pump holes.
BUT. HERE IS MY QUESTION… to pull the engine you have to turn the crank to access the torque converter bolts. Will I screw in the timing by turning the crank once I have the timing belt and all the related components off? How can I go back and make sure the timing is correct after I’ve rotated the crank while the cameras aren’t rotating?
Thanks for the help… maybe I’m just too paranoid about it or not thinking it through.
