I just wasted about 4 hours of my life trying to download and install the latest updates (5/2023) on my navigation unit. I tried two different USB drives (new, formatted) Sandisk 32GB…both downloads failed at about 70%….”No space” On the third try the HK server dropped me on the map update 2021 (already installed).
I can’t believe I paid $1000+ for an option that is stuck in the 1980’s and causes so much aggravation!
Going to the dealer soon for an oil change and tire rotation for a trip before 3K miles. If the dealer can’t update the navigation maps (free of charge) I will have a very negative opinion of Subaru and their service.
