I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy. I recently lost my rear side markers, brake lights and turn signals because something keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse. I tried using the parking light switch. All clear. I tried the column switch and everything was fine. I started the car and it lasted 8 minutes and then the fuse blew. I think I accidentally turned on both the park and column switches while the car was running. 1 .5 minutes to blow.
The wiring appears to be fine, except that both elements are lit on bulb 1147 when the park or column switch is activated, which it shouldn’t be (on GM cars anyway). The other odd thing is when braking the front markers get tension and the rear 1147 gets tension. Not sure if this is related to the fuse issue.
