Bad Design Outback 2023 Base USB Port Model

Having a problem with the rear USB port charging console (2nd row)? they are placed right at the children’s “foot height” and accidentally push the cable when it is connected to the usb port. This resulted in the USB charging port not being attached to the PCB. I’ve opened the thing up and the 2 ports (1 USB-A and 1 USB-C) are just with their electronic solder and a really weak adhesive point. The design is not really reliable and is designed to break.

anyone in this group experience that problem and how did you fix it? It’s a detail, but those ubb ports are really handy nowadays with smartphones and electronics, so I’d like to repair it with something that will stand the test of time and is more heavy duty. anyone know if this part has an oem replacement? part number 062325 SBP5067AA. But Google doesn’t fight back.
I would like to buy a new one and PL glue the door surround to the plastic trim. I will also buy a USB extension that has a shorter gland (maybe a 90 degree elbow) that doesn’t act as a swing arm with kids.
