I recently installed a Dashcam that required routing the cable for the rear camera, and as I was routing the cable through the A-frame, the cover popped-out, a little piece fell (see the second photo). I push the cover in, where it stays for a bit, but then during the drive, it pops out again.
I am suspecting that this initially happened during when the service replaced the windshield (crack during initial delivery), as I did not pull it out with any force when I was routing the cable through with the wedge tool.
Either way, does anyone know how to safely place the cover back? I can’t find a schematic of how this part connects to the frame to figure out what might have fallen out and from where.
