Advisor came out and showed me printout where front camber is out of spec, rear as well but not as bad. Said that camber is not adjustable and a result of worn shocks. Rest of the alignment basically in-spec but to fix the camber would mean new shocks all around. I left with an estimate for 4 new shocks.
I understand 96k is probably typical time to consider it, but currently no indication that anything is really amiss, tires seem to be wearing evenly right now and the car tracks straight and drives smoothly. It’s never been as smooth riding as our outback.
My thought is to keep an eye on tire wear along with letting my independent Subie shop know as well and just let it ride for a while, since this is our secondary car and we only put maybe 8-9k a year on it. Even get a quote from them. Tire shop didn’t say anything was leaking or blown.
Anyone see an issue with me taking this approach?
