The Gen 5 cabin filter might fit but oddly enough, while the dimensions are the same, in the Gen 6 something is different. The pleats go a 90 degree difference in the Gen 6 cabin filter.
The reason why this might not be ideal (but it will work) is that the support rails for the filter will now be on the wrong edge, but, realistically I think it will be just fine. Early on some people did use the Gen 5 filters on a Gen 6 and didn’t report any issues.
This is the cabin filter I use – it’s a HEPA but doesn’t reduce flow as much as the Bosch HEPA. Tesla guys are also using this brand of HEPA filter and they have tested it and it’s good.
