On a recent trip in our 23 Ascent the windshield took an impact from a fist-sized rock out of nowhere on I-15 near Provo, I have no doubt this would have broken any brand glass.
The new OEM windshield from AGC today had a list $442, paid $33 to Safelite; I guess USAA gets an incredible discount. Labor was $120, tax $3, total for the day $156 without calibration as the car is too new for Safelite to have the software. I’m sure the calibration charge from the dealer will be a lot more than the glass.
I’m used to Safelite giving discounts to USAA because of the volume of business they send them, but $33 for a $442 OEM AGC class is too incredible.
