I picked up a 1998 legacy shelter for $400.00. It is rust free from Maryland and only has about 120K on it. Automatic transmission.
I took it for a run and it ran fine, I parked it and the next day it wouldn’t move. So I’ve tried a whole list of solutions… the shaft changes when I shift it into any gear
•Transmission fluid is in the operating range
•Raised the car up, all tires roll fine
•The shift selector and connect all the work from the shifter to the lever in the transmission
• I only tried the FWD fuse because I ran out of options
•No check engine lights
•No codes when connected to OBD2
•All plugs and wires from the transmission have been inspected and look good
•Brake fluid is good, no brake light on dash, switch under brake pedal works.
