I am the original owner of a 2020 outback limited with 38,000 miles on it now.
In the almost 4 years I’ve owned it, maybe once every 4 to 6 weeks the DMS (NOT EVISOR) would turn itself off. So I just lived with it.

The last two weeks, the DMS would sometimes go off 4 times a day (if I made four trips). There hasn’t been a day that it hasn’t deactivated itself.
I have ruled out owner error and also ruled out sunlight. It usually shuts down 5 minutes after starting.
My question is if others with DMS have had their system disabled this many times in a 2 week period.
Taking it to the local small town dealer is not something I would do unless there is a known problem or bug with a firmware fix as they wouldn’t really take the problem seriously.
