Sight Recalibration | Subaru Ascent Forum

Hello to everyone. Had the windshield on my ’23 Ascent replaced last week due to stone damage. The replacement is a Subaru OEM Lamisafe. So I have the “Eyesight Disabled” message and scheduled the recalibration at the dealer in a week. But all security systems seem to work normally, ie. lane keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring, brake warning, etc. I thought these wouldn’t work if the vision was disabled due to a windshield replacement. I wonder if maybe they are working partially? but not 100%? And why is recalibration two to three hours of work at $140 an hour? Does it really last that long?
