My 2023 Outback Limited has Android Auto / Wireless CarPlay, but it seems the Software Update feature cannot be activated.
First, I’m pretty sure I have WIFI enabled and connected to my home WIFI, as you can see the WIFI icon from the top right of the screen.
When I go to Settings and click Software Update, a dialog pops up saying “Map Update may not be available”.
But when I click “YES” it says “No new software updates”.
I remember the Software Update menu has three submenus, which I never see.
When I go back to WIFI, I found that WIFI is automatically turned off.
Also, when I tried to turn WIFI back on, a dialog appeared, saying “Software Update” may not be available.
From my understanding, it seems like my Software Update feature doesn’t work here, at least it can’t work when WIFI is ON.
Can someone tell me how to do the software update on the 2023 Outback?
