Wilderness cladding removal | Subaru Outback Forums

The arch liners have a ton of clips (holes in the sheet metal), and double-sided tape at the top. You’d need new tape for sure, since you’d ruin it when removing the pieces. Saw a video on Youtube, and the guy used a slim trim tool to insert from the top, and go all around the part, then the whole thing just came off. So the holes might just be locating pins, rather than actual clips. Hope this helps, but once you do it, it’d be great to post your experience, to help others. I’m not going to do it myself, but was curious how the cladding was held in place, since some folks reported the door parts getting undone at the top. Good luck.
