What does it take to tow a motor trailer?

Gentlemen

I am looking for information about using my 2022 Outback Limited XT (2.4L) to tow a motorcycle trailer.

The trailer I’m planning to use is one of those uhaul 5′ x 9′ ramps (https://www.uhaul.com/Reservations/RatesTrailers/), where I put in the XT model/year and the Website says a hitch 3,500 lbs can carry a payload of 1,660 lbs, which should be more than enough for a motorcycle.

What I’m trying to figure out is what accessories are missing from my XT.

Looking on Subaru’s website (2022 Subaru Outback Trailer Hitch – L101SAN000 – Subaru Genuine Accessory) there is a trailer hitch, but it doesn’t seem to include the hitch ball.

My guess is that there is a missing link to connect the car to the trailer brake lights.

Is there a recommended kit that I can just order and install that will include all the equipment needed to safely tow a trailer with the above specs?

My previous towing experience was with a 2010 RAM 1500 (5.7L V8 Hemi) but it already had everything needed pre-installed from the factory. Just pulled into the uhaul and hitched up the trailer and it was ready to go.
:)
