So I’m sending my kid off to college in the fall. We will bring a motorized scooter – think Vespa or Honda Metropolitan and a standard mountain bike. What would be the best way to get him to college with the Outback?
I wanted to just make a double bike rack, but was concerned that the tongue weight and weight capacity would be too much for my factory installed OEM hardware. It will be a 2 hour drive, so not too far.
Maybe something like this is designed for dirt bikes, but figure out how to use it for scooters and regular bikes. Any thoughts or suggestions?
