I’ve never been one for black rims. They look good once…right out of the box. From there, they always look dirty. It might sound weird, but the few times I spent real money on real tires and wheels, the eternal stains, blemishes, and dirt really triggered my OCD gland. The way my brain works, the various contrasts between black rubber, black plastic trim, tinted windows, blacked-out trim would blow my mind. Lots of black color variations, and transitions are highlighted.
Check out the Tire Rack. You can enter your machine, PCB color and virtually view XT PCBs with different rim sizes and colors.
Bronze always looks clean, as do darker pieces. IMO, bronze fits better on a Subaru #because STIrallycargoldrims are really close to bronze.
IIRC, some here have a GEN6 with bronze or gold rims in the same blue.
