As it stands I have too many cars and my wife suggested we get rid of a few, the first one up is the 2001 Subaru Outback VDC.
She has an agreement with a local dealership to take that car and one more for a trade-in. Although, I understand trading this car it has been fun to work on the past few years and this Forum has helped many times get through the difficulties of owning a car that has east coast rust (Maine) and now west coast coast rust (Sunset Beach). Although, not always fun it has been good working out its issues.
I still have my 2009 Outback 2.5i but the VDC came first and has been lots of fun. I feel this Subie will probably end up in a junkyard seeing as it does not have much exterior beauty. Mechanically, it runs pretty well and is fun to drive and it passes smog (big plus in CA). The car has been around for 22, collected 182k miles and been a good learner for my teenage kids .
Thanks
