New to Subaru. Took possession of a 2020 OB Limited a month ago. Pulled into a parking spot today, put the car in park and turned it off. The steering wheel moved slightly.
Got out of the shop, ignition pressed with foot on the brake like I always do. Nothing happens. The message said the steering wheel was locked. Tried a few more times. Nothing. Kind of panicked, but the car doesn’t always scan and recognize me, greeting me personally. So I got out of the car, closed the door and turned around. Boom! Steering wheel open, car running, all good.
My questions are: has this happened to anyone else? Is it the facial recognition thing? Was it just a technical glitch? Should I be worried?
Any information or advice you can provide would be appreciated!
