I have a 2022 Ascent Limited and will be leaving in about 8 weeks. I know I read something in the Owners Manual about it shutting down after 12-14 days, but I can’t seem to find it anymore. So here are some questions that maybe someone can answer:
If I leave it out and start it remotely with the MySubaru app, will it turn off automatically and if so after how long does it run?
After I do this the first time, will I be able to start it remotely again, say a week later, even if no one has gotten into the car or it’s just one time until the car starts again?
Would it be better to disconnect the battery like I have done with older cars with less electronics?
Finally, should I consider one of the trickle chargers to maintain the battery charge?
