This evening as I was driving home I noticed that my green Starlink light was not on. I knew I paid my bill as it is automatically paid. Thinking it must have been the lighting in the car, I pressed the blue button; No answer. The same was true for the red button.
When I got home the light was still off, and when I turned the key off and opened the door, it came on and connected to Starlink, both SOS and Technical Services (?), (aka the “blue button”)
I spoke to Rebecca in Technical Services (?) and she couldn’t figure out what it was; saying that Starlink is operated by AT&T. I find it scary because this safety feature was the reason I bought the car; I am older and drive alone. I know it wasn’t because I was in a “dead zone”, even though I am in a very mountainous area, because I have seen the green light come on and been able to use the blue button in the past.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? Can anyone figure out what it was and maybe offer some advice?
