For a week or so, I hear a whining/almost rubbing noise when the steering wheel is fully or almost fully turned to the left and moving forward. I first noticed it while driving when I was making a turn in the road and I wasn’t going fast. A little lean in the body, but not too much in that twist. Then I hear it occasionally after pulling out of space or out of my driveway when I turn the wheel to the left and drive forward. I haven’t done any modifications to the vehicle other than the Primitive Racing skid plates, so there shouldn’t be any actual friction, I assume. I feel a bit of vibration in the steering wheel when it happens, and the sound/feeling only lasts for a second or two. I’m not sure I can reproduce that – I’ve tried doing figure eights at lots of slow and not-so-slow speeds, but I can’t get it to work, so I’m not sure about getting it yet.
I searched other posts and couldn’t find any such description. Has this happened to anyone else, and is it normal, or just dealing with things?
