I had my dealer update the software while I was getting my last service while it was still under warranty. I found a problem that prevents the screen from showing map directions, which is a big problem for me because I’m going on a road trip soon. The service department has failed to respond to my email and phone call, so I’m looking for a quick fix. The summary map is displayed on the screen, but does not show any details, including stops; the screen keeps offering the retry option after each attempt.

Software check, at home with a weak signal, takes about 30 minutes to verify, WiFi, says software is up to date.
The only thing I can come up with is the software update was for a unit WITH TomTom’s Subaru maps installed. Suggestions for a proper solution would be appreciated.
