I have a 2020 Outback with Sirius XM. Many times it works as soon as I start the car, but lately I sometimes drive 1/2 mile or more before it starts. Well the next day it wouldn’t turn on at all until I stopped the vehicle and restarted and Sirius started playing..FM & AM work fine..anyone else have this problem.
It happens in rare cases, especially with older software versions. You can force a restart while driving by holding the power button on the radio for about 20 seconds, or just wait until the next time you restart and it’s normally fine.
I currently have the April 2022 software and everything is pretty perfect. I’ll do the October 2022 update as soon as I can get the files, but no big rush.
