Having seen all the posts about this issue (including that other thread), I recall now that I saw this in my car a few weeks back – I hit the Cancel button and moved on, and my brain barely registered it as any kind of annoyance. Nowadays, how frequently have you gone to a website and the first thing you see is a pop-up for cookies, then a pop-up to sign up to their newsletter and then maybe you get to the actual content? So my brain never registered this as anything more than a minor “huh, that’s weird”, and I forgot about it until seeing all the posts here today.
If my experience is worth anything, then I’d say this only shows up once and I haven’t seen any more pop-ups, related to Sirius XM or otherwise since then, except for the low fuel warning.
My Sirius XM trial has also expired since then and I am yet to get any kind of ads or pop-ups. Although, if there is an easy way to get rid of all the physical junk mail I get every week, I’m all ears.
