My father in law has a rear (05′) and the light that shows the esp (or traction control or whatever it’s called in subaru) is off and can’t be changed.
I did some reading with my diagnostic tool. No fault codes but direct reading of the two available speed signals (front and rear only, all 4 not available) showed the rear showing half the speed of the front wheels (which was the correct speed)
I think it’s related to something in the speed sensors, but any specific suggestions on how to proceed, or if this is a giveaway to some standard issue?
The ABS works as it should, and there are no fault codes, warning lights or anything
