When I got home, there was a P0172 and a P0244 and another 244 pending. I know the P0172 is bank1 system too rich. I seem to have seen somewhere the E25 is not actually that specific and it means the exhaust is too rich going into the 1st catalytic converter, bank undetermined. I have replaced the MAF and the front O2 sensor with denso brand parts. My Bosch OBD says 244 is “Turbo Wastegate A Solenoid Range Performance/ Range.” Is this the solenoid mounted on the bracket in front of the strut tower? It threw that code a while ago and I replaced it with a Denso part that said it fit my car, but it looked a little different. Also, I replaced the vacuum line that ran from the front of the intake near the MAF sensor with a slightly larger generic vacuum line that runs back to that solenoid actually. Would that figure in the equation?
I have an 05 Baja Turbo That has thrown a bunch of P30x codes and a P0172 with them. I have the misfires fixed, I think. I put in new NGK plugs, new Denso coils on each plug and cleaned the injectors and replaced the external o-rings on them (I had been smelling gas.) Last test dive to work (forty miles each way) it popped a pending P0172 which I did not clear. It seemed to run fine, 75 farenheit. Going home in 95 degree heat, the engine light came on. It also seemed to struggle on acceleration. The trip is ~12 miles interstate on the home end and the rest country driving, 55 and 45mph on the work end.
