Is anyone else having no issues with Sirius XM intermittently? Sometimes the stations turn out well. Sometimes they won’t connect and pressing the station buttons does nothing until the next time the car is started. I got the latest software update at the dealer a few weeks ago and I don’t remember this problem before.
I had the CCU replaced earlier this month that had the January update installed by the dealer that supplies them.
Before the new unit was installed, you never knew when the audio would start.
Sometimes seconds to minutes.
The new CCU is much faster and faster, most of the time the audio is instant on startup.
Once in a while the audio will pop for a few seconds and then go silent, but now the message “LOADING” on the screen that wasn’t there before. At least now we know that Sirus is loading and sometimes it freezes and needs to be restarted.
All my other issues seemed to be resolved with the new CCU and I don’t seem to think about it anymore.
The few times I get the “Loading” message, I just switch FM.
