Parking brake and sight are disabled after pad and rotor replacement

So while I was out swapping in a 2 inch Ironman lift suspension, I also tackled the pads and rollators all around. the car is now like a new car again except for a few little things i am now wondering about.

number 1,

No problems when I went to bed pads according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The problem appeared after I took it to the highway to work last night. The parking brake light came on and went out, as well as the vision and a bunch of electronics that go along with that. When I was putting the rear piston back on the piston, I turned the parking brake part of the piston back on and pushed it all the way in. Then move on to pushing the rest of the piston into the caliper. Should I have removed a hair from the parking lot so it wasn’t all the way? Could it be “stuck” in position and the electronic motor is not strong enough to push it properly? Thus, it disables the vision system and related systems. I’m pretty sure the parking brake issue is related to something I did while installing the day spa brake part of my car and has nothing to do with the suspension lift that was installed.

number 2,

Why do these cars seem to blow through the rear brakes much faster than the front? Should I bring the car to the dealer and have the F/R brake bias checked? is this something that can be controlled and fixed? I had the cushions and rollers replaced before a big family trip in 2021, at that time I only had a few mm left of the rear tables and when I replaced them yesterday it was the same situation. Except for the passenger inside the pad… it had 0 brake material left and was grinding the metal support pad on the rotor, the reason for replacing the pads/rotors in the first place.

Now the only problem the car had presented before the bath day was the grinding rear brakes, all other systems were in good working order.

I’m just waiting for the rain to ease up here so I can go out and remove the rear wheels and check the piston positions. Have any of you here run into these problems?
