Long stay, I really appreciate all the great info here. I have a question about the wiring included in the photo / in this latest shock receiver package – what is it for? I’ve followed the shock installation videos on YouTube, connected the 7 and 4 pin connector wires, as well as the wiring that has the module you mount in the trunk, and referred to the online manual for the L101SXC003 although it doesn’t seem to mention what do with this other included wire. I would appreciate any insight, thanks.
EDIT: looks like it’s a brake control tail. After researching further, I would only install this if I planned to use a trailer with electric brakes – is this correct?
