New Owner of a 2008 Subaru Outback

I recently purchased a used 2008 Outback off of Facebook Marketplace. I wasn’t able to go and see it in person, as it is in a different state than I am currently. I would love it if anyone has any advice they were willing to share on what my steps should be with inspecting the car. I want to be as safe as possible but don’t have much money to spend. I’m a college student and this is my first car purchase. My car is also missing a spoiler so if anyone has any leads on where to buy cheap parts lmk! There’s also lots of weathering on the car’s dashboard, so if anyone has tips on how to maybe “diy” a dashboard cover, I’d love any suggestions .
