Just replaced OEM tires (Falken) with Michelin CC 2 tires on my 2021 Ascent Touring. I know it’s not fair to compare new tires to ones with 33,000 mile on them but what a difference. I had thought the Ascent just had squirly handling at freeway speeds. Noticed this the day I took the brand new car home. It just felt to light and unsteady at 70 MPH. What a difference. the Michelin CC 2 tires are so much better in handling, ride and cornering. Have not noticed much difference in road noise. Why would Subaru put such sub standard tires on their top of the line vehicle that only last a little over 30,000 miles?
