I need some advice on upgrading the brake system for the 2019 Subaru Ascent. My car has recently started making a vibrating noise, leading me to suspect that the OEM parts may not be performing well or even borderline defective.
My main questions are:
- How can I determine which parts need to be replaced – the pads, rotors or calipers?
- What criteria should I use to judge the performance of different brake parts? I’ve browsed a few options online, but I’m not sure which ones are really the best. I am aware that a higher price does not necessarily mean better quality.
While I am prepared to invest in the best system available, I would like to do so within reason. Any recommendations or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
