I’m on the fence about replacing my LL Bean with a newer model car, but nothing short of a Mercedes or some other luxury car comes close to all the bells and whistles this old LLBean has.
The problem is that I have spent so much time and money, thousands this year alone, trying to get the check engine light off. I spend $1000, the lights go out for a few days, then come back on. I was warned that the light may come on after another code was added after the new Cat was installed. And continues. I am able to use Cruise Control for a few days, then I get the ping, Cruise Control disable light comes on. Again.
What are other people’s thoughts on this?
BTW, all in all, this is one of the nicest, nicest, and best dirt handling cars I’ve ever owned.
