Thank you for this. I may have to look into that, but we have yet to use our Ascent overnight, but since we have a trip coming up this summer that will most likely change. I have to say I found it a bit odd that the LED upgrade they have on the Ascent doesn’t include that light or sun visors :dunno:
I did my indoor LED upgrade last fall before our winter trip using 5 light tower bulbs from Super Bright which are
magnificent. The problem with the cargo area light while traveling is its location. We had the 3rd row folded down and the entire rear cargo area was filled 3 tiers high with 300 pounds of luggage and dog stuff. I’m a former backpacker and light traveller, but not so much my wife. The cargo area light was buried and of no help at all.
I kept an LED flashlight in the rearmost third-row cup holder and used it throughout the trip.
Truly a silly place for light. I’m sure Bobby’s LED panel is much better, but it would be hidden from my wife’s storage :tango_face_wink:
