Our 3.0 Gen2 is still starting and is in good shape at about 177000 miles. Oil analysis looks good and no head gasket leaks. We have had it since new and have been going for 20 years. We have kept it garaged when not in use. Smooth running and shifting. I like the way it works compared to the last few generations I’ve had as a borrower. I don’t know if the last gens would fit a roof box under the garage door opener.
The CD changer doesn’t work, but I just stream music from the phone with the FM transmitter.
I have not changed the radiator but there is no leak.
Very rarely the ABS brake warning light comes on, but on restart the light goes off.
It has had the usual oil/transmission/differential/power steering/brake fluid/coolant change intervals and filter changes and spark plug changes. Random brake blocks. I do the simple stuff like oil/filter/headlights/tail light changes. My motoring days are long in the past when I threw an engine/transmission in our Chevelle, though I may get back into it. So I send the heavy lifting to the professionals.
