We are moving from Maine to California permanently. We have an old Ford. We are planning to purchase a new 2023 Subaru Outback XT Limited.
As we asked, the price in California will be slightly lower than New Hampshire. (Considering that we will register the car in Ca, we will pay tax at the Ca percentage). On the other hand, I’m thinking of buying the new car in NH so I can drive it across the country and enjoy the process.
Question:
1. Do you think I have a good chance of getting the New England dealer to match the California price?
2. What can go wrong with buying a car in another country?
3. From expressing my intention to buy a car to driving it from the dealer with all the paper work, how many days will it take topically?
