Shipping weight on fuel tank skids was 25 lbs. The weight of the ship with the skid in the middle was 11 lbs. The engine and rear differential (in the same package) was 28 lbs. A few kilos of this will be packaging (they are big boxes). You also shed some weight when installing the engine and mid-slide (due to the existing parts being removed). I would call it about 55kg extra weight. A good weight, but not that much considering the weight of the car (approx 3900 lbs).

I tend to load my car with the cargo rack on top, hitchhiker in the back, two adults, two kids and a dog in the hood. If it was £100 or more I’d be worried about adding it all up, but £55 isn’t bad at all. I’ll have to look these up.
